After spending much of her young adulthood studying medicine, Dr. Azlin has high hopes to give something back to the community. But as soon as her first day, something seems amiss about life in the hospital. She meets Dr. Azmi, her perpetually disgruntled superior, and gets thrown off into the deep end; on top of living the hectic life of a doctor, Azlin has trouble coping with pressure of having people’s health in her hands, and screws up as soon as her first assignment. Every time, it’s Azmy who ends up cleaning up her mess and covering for her. One night, hours before the end of her shift, Azlin breaks down and cry. In a rare moment of camaraderie, the usually-reserved Azmi talks her through her moment of weakness, and Azlin comes upon a realisation that in this line of work, she can only either resist the system, or serve it.
