Shakespeare’s Men
From the director that brought you the sold out Shakespeare’s Women and The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr, comes Shakespeare’s Men. The setting is a gentlemen’s club. All four men are suited up, whiskies in hand. You immediately get a sense of camaraderie between the gentlemen, like they have known each other for years and this is their regular haunt. Amidst the witty repartee, Shakespeare comes up and the various characters slowly come to life.
Note: It will be performed in ‘festival mode’ during YSDAF sans full lighting and set. The complete version will be staged from 1 – 4 September at klpac.
